Ne zna kamo ide, ali zna da bez nas ne može dalje – mi smo njegov jedini vodič! Hoćemo li mu pomoći…usmjeriti tijek događaja?
Apsurd, uspjesi i promašaji, neizvjesnost, razbijeno posuđe i mnogo smijeha – Der Lauf je priča o životu, ispričana kroz nevjerojatnu igru pokreta i improvizacije. Ovaj neobični svijet, u kojem je sve moguće, vodi nas tamo gdje nismo mislili da ćemo ikad stići.

LES VÉLOCIMANES ASSOCIÉS
Etimološki, riječ vélocimane znači „onaj čije se ruke kreću vrlo brzo“. U 18. i 19. stoljeću koristila se kao naziv za žonglera.
Kompanija Les Vélocimanes Associés producira, kreira i izvodi žonglerske predstave.
«...naše predstave stvaraju žongleri. To znači da, iako žongliranje ponekad nije naizgled u prvom planu u nekim našim produkcijama, sve su prožete pogledom njihovih autora koji se prvenstveno definiraju kao žongleri. Povezanost s objektima – koja je u središtu naše prakse – oblikuje se kroz razne tehnike manipulacije i konstrukciju sekvenci koje daju našem radu prepoznatljivost, čak i kada se udaljavamo od tradicionalne vizije žongliranja.
Les Vélocimanes Associés posvećeni su stvaranju predstava koje su istovremeno „prizemljene“ i poticajne. Važno nam je poštovati tradiciju cirkusa kao umjetnosti koja je pristupačna svima i otvorena za druge. Najviše volimo prilagoditi naše predstave kako bismo ih približili publici koja je često udaljena od klasične kulturne ponude. «

In an atmosphere halfway between David Lynch and Intervilles ( French comedy game show ), a juggler wearing a bucket on his head sets up blindly in a series of useless experiments which will take him where he wasn’t expected to be. You will be his only guide and come what may! Nothing will prevent the course of things… Except you perhaps?
Absurdity, a couple of exploits and some failures, uncertainty, and a lot of broken dishes: Der Lauf is a story about life, directed by a juggler inviting us into a joyfully unusual universe.
Liberating and vibrant, Der Lauf is like no other.

LES VÉLOCIMANES ASSOCIÉS
Etymologically, the word vélocimane means “one whose hands move very fast.” In the 18th and 19th centuries, it was used to refer to a juggler.
The company Les Vélocimanes Associés produces, creates, and presents juggling shows.
«… our shows are created by jugglers. This means that even if juggling does not always take centre stage in some of our productions, each piece is imbued with the perspective of its creators, who primarily identify as jugglers. The connection with objects, central to our practice, is shaped by a wide range of manipulation techniques and the construction of sequences that give our work its distinctive style, even as we move away from traditional approaches to juggling.
Les Vélocimanes Associés are committed to creating shows that are both grassroots and thought-provoking. We strongly believe in the circus tradition as something accessible to all and open to everyone. There’s nothing we enjoy more than adapting our shows to reach audiences who may be distant from mainstream cultural offerings.«
