SWANS are returning to Zagreb
After 7 years, American rockers Swans are making a comeback to Zagreb with an intimate performance at Kino SC, and in the following, we provide some more details about this intriguing band.
Founded way back in 1982 in New York, the band is known for their avant-garde music that defies genre boundaries. Over the years, they have explored various musical genres such as noise rock, post-punk, industrial, and post-rock, and today, they are renowned for their sound experimentation and lyrics often reflecting misanthropy. After a decade of musical creativity and nine studio albums, the band concluded their final global tour.
Years later, in 2010, the Swans’ reunion was announced with the release of a new song on MySpace by the Young God Records label. Following that, Swans released six studio albums, with the latest one titled “The Beggar” being released in June of this year.
The legendary Swans are performing tonight at a sold-out Kino SC, and this highly anticipated concert will be opened by Norman Westberg.d
