October may bring cooler days, but the music scene across Croatia is heating up the atmosphere to the max. This month offers a series of unforgettable concerts, with a variety of music genres and energies to satisfy all tastes. From urban beats and nostalgic returns to the ’80s, to the most modern performers, October’s concert calendar is packed with events you won’t want to miss.
Grše in Rijeka
After the biggest solo concert of his career, held in February this year, the rapper Grše from Trilj will perform at Rijeka’s Exportdrvo on October 19th.
Svemirko lands in Boogaloo
Three years after his last solo concert and ahead of new hit singles, Svemirko will perform at Boogaloo on Friday, October 18th. Svemirko constantly brings a fresh vibe to his live performances, and this upcoming show will be no different, leaving no one indifferent and getting the crowd dancing – whether they want to or not.
On Saturday, October 19th, young star Breskvica is coming to Pietas Julia! Known for her hit songs, Breskvica captivates audiences with her emotional voice and energy that takes the atmosphere to its peak.
Tvornica Kulture: A must-visit for music lovers
This autumn, Tvornica Kulture becomes an essential destination for music lovers, offering a series of concerts catering to various musical tastes. Renato Metessi and Zvijezde return to Tvornica Kulture on October 18th. With recognizable hits from the golden era of the new wave, like “Nikol” and “Ne pitaj za mene,” they will turn the venue into a dance floor, bringing back the magic of romantic melodies and irresistible hits.
Unforgiven 4, a tribute band to Metallica from Ljubljana, will perform on Saturday, October 19th, at Tvornica Kulture. This talented Slovenian quartet will provide a unique experience for the Zagreb audience by showcasing the greatest hits from the legendary band’s repertoire.
Just two days later, on October 20th, the stage will host Depeche Mode tribute by Gift. This band from Novi Sad is known for their excellent performances of Depeche Mode’s iconic hits, such as “Enjoy the Silence” and “Personal Jesus,” and will undoubtedly deliver an authentic experience for fans of this legendary band.
One of the most anticipated concerts in October is undoubtedly the performance of legendary music icon Midge Ure, who will take the stage at Tvornica on October 24th. The voice of the iconic Ultravox, producer of Band Aid, and one of the most recognizable vocalists of all time, will bring the best from his rich career. Fans can expect to enjoy hits like “Vienna” and “Dancing with Tears in My Eyes” and witness one of the most distinctive voices of the ’80s live.
To close out the month, on October 27th, Tvornica Kulture will host the experimental punk band Turbo Trans Turisti from Belgrade. Known for their energetic and unconventional performances, this band will present their controlled chaos at their first solo concert in Zagreb, rounding off an exciting lineup of musical events in October.
Piknik Park brings Linkin Park energy back to Boogaloo
For Linkin Park fans, Piknik Park will perform at Boogaloo on October 26th. After 14 performances in Zagreb, Piknik Park has become synonymous with top-tier tribute concerts, each show forging a special connection with the local audience, who always welcomes them warmly. At the same time, Boćarski dom will host two sold-out concerts by the popular group HIGH5, celebrating the 10th anniversary of their hit “Triestrice.”
