Events this weekend
This weekend, entertainment will be abundant. Celebrate International Women’s Day with hits from Croatian divas, laugh until you cry with stand-up performances, catch a hit play, or listen to your favorite musician. Below is a brief overview of events happening throughout the weekend:
Miach at Tvornica
International Women’s Day will also be celebrated by Miach with their first solo concert at Tvornica kulture in Zagreb.
Clan of Xymox
After 40 years since their formation, the legendary pioneers of darkwave, Clan of Xymox, will make their premiere appearance in Zagreb on March 8th, all the way from the Netherlands! Throughout their rich career, they have released 17 studio albums, along with numerous EPs, compilations, and remixes. Their latest album, “Limbo,” released in 2021, will be promoted during this special event at Močvara.

Symphonic Metal Legends Therion
Symphonic metal pioneers Therion are returning to Zagreb after six years. As part of their European tour, they will perform at Tvornica kulture on March 10th, with the evening opening by Finnish band Satra!
Taking The Trash Out
The most popular Croatian trash program returns in a special edition dedicated to the female icons of Croatian music from the 90s and 2000s. Enjoy the revamped hall of the Mozaik Event Center with hits from Colonia, Vesna Pisarović, Ivana Brkić, Doris Dragović, Vanna, Lana Jurčević, Tajči, Magazin, Nina Badrić, Claudia Beni, and all the other divas who marked the golden era of Croatian music.

Following a packed Lauba, KPP Events continues with the biggest hip-hop/rnb/trap party in town on March 9th in the renovated hall of Mozaik Event Center.

“Court Jesters” - Stand-up Show at SplickeScene
The comedians of SplickeScene are finally returning to Sinj with their new show “Court Jesters,” which they will perform on International Women’s Day, March 8th, at the City Cinema Sinj. Though we no longer have nobility and kings, Tomislav Primorac, Josip Škiljo, and Ivica Lazaneo are still ready to poke fun at everything around them to find humor in everyday life.
Comedy: “Ubit ću se, majkemi”
This hilarious comedy depicts the life of a woman at a crossroads. Through funny and challenging situations, we follow Stojanka, an ordinary woman with internal conflicts, who never gave up on her desire for success despite everyday challenges. Presented in the form of a monologue, the play reveals Stojanka’s determination, willingness to sacrifice, and innate need to walk through life with her head held high.
